Progress!

I hadn't really noticed how much work I've put into my bike until tonight. I found a few snaps of the thing right after I brought it home.
And where it is now.
Thanks to Jeremiah at Love Cycles for the idea for the sissy bar mockup.

This is the first bike I've built from the ground up, and it's a pretty wild experience so far. You start your build with a good idea of where you want it to go, and you start making your moves on your project to get to where you want it to be. That's how I thought it would go, anyway. I've found that at a certain point in the build, the project takes on its own soul, and starts to move in its own direction, and at that point, it is your job to get the motorcycle to where *it* wants to be. Pretty wild.
Building stuff is cool.

 Coming up:
-Seat/seat pan/p-pad
-Exhaust
-Foot pegs/controls
-Battery box
-Sissy bar
-Shorten chain/chain tensioner

etc etc etc
